For the drivers who often run trucks, the most important thing on the trailer is the axle, in which the bearing is an important component and is often replaced on the trailer. Then why do our Trailer bearings burn often? After analysis, there are probably several reasons:

1. The lubrication is not good, or the lubricating oil is too dirty, etc., including poor heat dissipation and incorrect selection of lubricating oil (some axles need special lubricating oil)

2. The speed is too high (usually there is no such reason, and the overspeed inspection is very strict now)

3. There is a problem with the installation, but it's hard (this is a technical reason. There are differences between people. It's best to find the manufacturer's certification service point)

4. The bearing is fake (this reason cannot be ruled out)

In addition to the bearings, the brake drum is often heated and burned

There are two main reasons for the hot brake drum of the trailer during driving:

1、 The brake drum is hot due to mechanical failure;

2、 The brake drum is hot due to the failure of the brake (air circuit) system.

If the brake drum is hot due to mechanical failure, generally only individual brake drums are hot; However, the brake drum is hot due to the failure of the brake (air circuit) system. Usually, multiple or all brake drums will be hot.

When a fault occurs in the braking system, the main trailer valve or trailer emergency relay valve will slowly leak air into the signal pipeline. When the pressure in the pipeline can open the trailer emergency relay valve or ABS valve, the trailer will slowly hold the brake, causing the brake drum to heat, but the main vehicle does not have this phenomenon. If the main vehicle has high horsepower and the driver does not find it in time, it will even cause the brake drum to burn red and cause a fire. Therefore, drivers often misunderstand that there must be a problem with the trailer.

If it is confirmed that the main vehicle causes the holding brake of the trailer, please contact the main vehicle service station for treatment. If the axle locking brake is caused by the trailer itself, there is generally a problem with the trailer relay valve (sometimes ABS valve), which can be solved as long as the relay valve is replaced.
