In recent years, news about the relevant departments' interview with the freight platform often appears.

On the 26th of last month, the Office of the Inter ministerial Joint Conference on the Coordination and Supervision of the New Transport Format held another reminder interview with four Internet road freight platform companies: Manbang Group, Freight Lala, Didi Freight and Kuaigou Taxi. "Some platform companies still have multiple charges, price competition, non-standard operation and other problems, which have damaged the legitimate rights and interests of truck drivers."

It is the fourth time that four freight platforms have been interviewed in two years.

The freight platform is a product of the development and expansion of Internet technology. Its main role is to integrate and release scattered goods and vehicle source information, so that the owner and the owner can directly connect online transactions, and get rid of the control and monopoly of the distribution station on goods source information.

In principle, the emergence of freight platforms has to some extent avoided the phenomenon of middlemen earning price differences, which is a good thing. But the reality is that many car owners are troubled by the existence of the freight platform, even to the extent of "hate to the bone".

1. One of the most important reasons is price competition, which uses a reference price that is significantly lower than the market price to guide the final transaction price.

This is also the most critical point for many car owners.

Taking a freight platform as an example, there are two modes to determine freight: Buy It Now or telephone bargaining. Buy It Now refers to the owner grabbing the order, and the owner who successfully grabs the order directly signs an agreement with the owner; Telephone bargaining means that the owner and the owner of the goods contact and negotiate, and sign a transport agreement after confirmation. Generally, the platform will recommend the Buy It Now model and provide a reference price for freight. However, many car owners think that this reference price is significantly lower than the market price in many cases.

Could it be better to negotiate by phone? Some car owners reported that the freight platform not only used the reference price to drive down the price, but also actively contacted the owner to guide him to drive down the price.

According to the owner's description, during one order reception, he had already discussed the freight with the owner, and the price was 8500 yuan. Unexpectedly, the customer service on the platform called the owner directly, saying that the freight price was set high, and that someone had accepted the order at 6000 yuan on the platform. As a result, the owner and the owner were fellow villagers, so they sent the customer service recording to the owner.

Not only that, the freight platform will also use its resource advantages to induce car owners to undercut prices and grab orders. Some orders that are obviously losing money will be accepted by the same industry if they don't accept them. Many car owners also have trouble saying this. After all, it is good to earn a car loan. As a result, the freight is getting lower and lower.

2. In addition to price suppression, the freight platform also has problems with non-standard operation, such as allowing orders that are obviously suspected of overloading to appear on the platform.

Before, some car owners had reported that the goods with an order of more than 10t on a freight platform actually required 4 meters or even 3 meters to be transported. This requirement was completely unreasonable, but the platform not only did not supervise them, but also allowed them to be released smoothly. Once the owner accepts the order, it means that he is bound to be overloaded on the road, and is seriously irresponsible for transport vehicles and even other traffic participants.

No matter whether the main responsibility for overloading transportation in this case is the owner or the cargo owner, the platform must not shirk the responsibility. Therefore, many people suggest that the overload control should not only start from the vehicle inspection, but also from the source. The control platform may be better than the vehicle control. After all, as a freight transport platform, we should not let the nonconforming orders go for profit. We should do a good job of supervision and guidance.

3. Refusal to protect rights and other obligations, the rights and interests of the owner such as receiving orders and freight cannot be guaranteed, and the platform fails to solve problems.

According to car owners, on the freight platform, deposit, information fee, freight fraud, etc. are very common. For example, in the case of supply fraud, the fraudster pretends to be the owner of the goods on the supply platform to get the order, and then turns into the owner of the goods, and re publishes information on the platform to find the real owner for transportation. After the goods arrive at the destination, the fraudster, as the owner of the goods, directly contacts the owner of the goods to ask for the freight. However, the actual owner of the goods means that it is a waste of time to travel, or even to pay for the toll on fuel.

But once such a problem occurs, some freight platforms do not help solve it. At best, they close the liar's account, and then there is no follow-up. The car owners do not have much time and energy to spend here, and most of them end up with nothing.

In principle, since the freight platform provides a trading platform for goods and vehicles and earns profits from it, it has the obligation to maintain the trading order and protect the legitimate rights and interests of both parties. In reality, the performance of some freight platforms does not seem satisfactory.

Because of this, many car owners are calling for banning freight platforms. This idea is understandable, but is it really feasible?

Objectively speaking, if the freight platform is cancelled, the freight mode will return to its previous appearance, especially for individual owners. It is still impossible to face the cargo owner face to face, and the intermediary, information department or distribution station will return to the Jianghu to find information in these intermediary institutions. Compared with finding information on the freight platform, the convenience and timeliness are much worse.

When the time comes, once the source vehicle information is monopolized, the transportation capacity will also be squeezed, and most of the freight of the owner will go to the information department and the distribution station. Moreover, the Information Department and the freight station can't stop the behavior of earning price difference or taking kickbacks. The freight to the car owners will not be much higher than it is now after being allocated layer by layer. After all, there are too many cars and too few goods, which is incomparable to the time when the motor sounded "gold". In addition, there are also cases of false information, high price routines and failure to get back the freight.

Moreover, many car owners have adapted to the convenience and efficiency brought by the Internet, and suddenly cancelled the freight platform, many people may not be able to adapt. In particular, it is unknown whether the new generation of car owners will continue to stay in this industry. Young people who are ready to enter this industry may also give up.

It can be seen that instead of canceling the freight platform, it is better to strengthen the supervision on it, and solve the existing problems of price depression, violations, irregularities, inaction, etc. from the source. If many problems existing in the freight platform can be solved, it is certainly a better solution. If the interview does not play a significant role, it may be proposed by some car owners to launch an official freight platform, which may also be a solution.
