In fact, just from the perspective of vehicle type, C6 driver's license is also applicable, but there is a provision for the applicable vehicle type of C6 driver's license, that is, the total mass of tractor and trailer is less than (not including) 4500kg. Otherwise, only A2 photos can be used.

In addition, in terms of licensing, this model may not be able to get a blue license, but also depends on the conditions of the vehicle itself. Generally, only when the following three points are met, can it get a blue license:

The total length shall not exceed 6m;

The total mass shall not exceed 4.5t;

Tonnage for household registration shall not exceed 2t.

Those who do not meet any of the three conditions can only be booked.

At present, this light truck+center axle combination vehicle model has a vague position in the laws and regulations, and the attitude of the laws and regulations towards it is not clear for the time being. Whether it is worth popularizing in a wide range seems to be debatable. However, according to relevant statistics, there are millions of blue brand light trucks in China, of which 68% are illegal, that is to say, nearly 700000 vehicles are not compliant.
