1. Poor matching of ABS system.

At present, the newly delivered tractors in the market are generally forced to install ABS system, and most of them are brand ABS. However, few owners can install brand ABS on their original semi-trailer, or non brand ABS, or no ABS, or old abs that has failed.

In this case, when the vehicle is braking, the braking distance will become larger due to the lack of good braking effect; Secondly, it is easy to push the head, especially under emergency braking; In addition, the ABS system of the main vehicle can prevent the wheel from locking and carry out the braking action of "rolling and sliding", which can directly lock the wheels of the semi-trailer. The tire loses grip and is prone to sideslip, which is very easy to cause the vehicle out of control accident.

2. Refit the "brake king" without permission.

3. EBS system mismatch.

With the continuous improvement of tractor configuration, more and more vehicles are equipped with EBS system. Many car owners disagree and think that as long as the trailer is equipped with ABS system, it can be used with the EBS of the main car. In fact, EBS can only play a good braking effect if it is matched with ECS.

EBS is controlled by electric signal, and the braking response will be faster. If the main vehicle is EBs and the trailer is ordinary ABS, it is very likely that the main vehicle will respond first and the trailer will respond later when braking, so it may push the head.

In addition, if the main vehicle is equipped with EBS, the trailer is not installed. When the turning speed of the vehicle is too fast, the EBS system will automatically brake the wheels on the inner side of the vehicle in order to ensure the safety of the vehicle. However, because the trailer is not equipped with EBS and cannot synchronize the action of the main vehicle, it will push the main vehicle forward, resulting in rollover.

Therefore, if the main vehicle is equipped with EBS system, the trailer should also be equipped with EBS, which can not only improve the braking comfort, but also improve the cornering stability.
