Relatively speaking, among these types of oil seals, axle oil seal is the most prone to oil leakage. In particular, semi-trailer, as a heavy transport tool, has complex road conditions. Mud, dust, rain and snow or snow melting agent on the road are often easy to splash on the axle, resulting in serious oil seal pollution and reduced service life.

As the phenomenon of axle oil leakage is common, many car owners are not very concerned about this phenomenon, let alone send it for repair in time. When adding lubricating oil, do not add too much or block the vent, otherwise the internal pressure will exceed the sealing working pressure of the oil seal under the condition of high-speed operation of the vehicle, resulting in oil leakage.

In addition, if there are too many impurities in the lubricating oil, or alloy powder and metal iron filings appear, the new oil must be replaced in time and thoroughly to prevent damage to the oil seal.

4. Improper installation.

When installing the oil seal, if there is a special tool, it must be used. Never hit it hard with a hammer to prevent the oil seal from deforming or squeezing the spring; In case of lip flanging, spring falling off or oil seal deflection during installation, it must be removed and reinstalled.

5. Internal failure of accessories.

When there is a problem with the internal parts of the oil seal, it will also lead to oil leakage of the oil seal. At this time, only replacing the oil seal can not eliminate the oil leakage fault. The vehicle needs to be carefully inspected to find out the cause of the fault before the oil leakage fault can be removed.
