2. Change the type or purpose of the vehicle without authorization.

Generally, it refers to changing passenger cars into trucks, trucks into buses, ordinary trucks into special trucks, special trucks into ordinary trucks, sleeper buses into seat buses, and seat buses into sleeper buses without authorization.

3. Obvious widening, lengthening and heightening change the overall dimension of the vehicle.

The measured value of the overall dimension of the trailer shall not exceed the limits specified in GB7258 and gb1589, and the error between the measured value and the value squeezed on the motor vehicle driving license shall not exceed ± 3% or ± 150mm; The height of the breast board of the trailer shall be consistent with the motor vehicle registration information and the height of the breast board painted on both sides of the cab, or the error shall not exceed ± 50mm. In addition, the locking mechanism of the vehicle shall be complete and intact, and the cargo box breast board and bottom plate shall be regular.

In addition, "removing the top cover of van Trailer", "removing the roof rod of warehouse grid Trailer" and "replacing large-size tank" are also illegal modifications.

4. Unauthorized modification of vehicle chassis to increase load capacity.

The refitting of trailer chassis can not pass the annual inspection, such as increasing or reducing the number of tires and axles without authorization. The annual review requires that the number of leaf springs on the rear axle of the trailer should be consistent with the motor vehicle registration information, and there should be no obvious widening or thickening, and the tire specification should also be consistent with the registration information.

5. Add diesel heating or standby oil tank.

Many car owners choose to add firewood heating for heating in winter, or add equipment fuel tank in order to improve the operating mileage after refueling. These two practices are illegal refitting.

6. Change the main assembly parts of the vehicle without authorization.

For example, replace the engine, gearbox, front axle, rear axle or frame that is not consistent with the original model without authorization; Replace the vehicle body or tank body of the tank car without authorization; Change the suspension form of the vehicle without authorization.

7. Vehicle bid change.

In order to pursue individuality, some car owners will change the standard of the vehicle. Note that this is also an illegal modification, because it changes the registered characteristics and model of the motor vehicle. 8. Refit vehicle headlights.

According to the provisions of technical inspection items and methods for motor vehicle safety (gb38900-2020), motor vehicles shall not modify external lighting and signal devices, install rear spotlights, or install external lighting and signal devices other than mandatory standards. Therefore, refitting headlights or installing spotlights cannot pass the annual examination.
