In terms of classification, trailers can be divided into three categories: American, European and domestic:

The length of American RV is generally about 8m and 9m, and some of them can exceed 12m. The size is relatively large. Of course, their own weight is also relatively large. They need more powerful tractors, and their fuel consumption is also relatively high. In some high limit sections, the trafficability may be limited.

2. European RV

The design concept of European saloons is different from that of American saloons. They prefer the concept of lightweight, low fuel consumption, easy and free, and most of them are less than 8.5m long. In terms of internal layout, the European RV is smaller and more fresh, pursuing delicacy and delicacy, focusing on details and color matching. The furniture is mainly made of multi-layer composite boards with stickers, which gives people a sense of beauty and intelligence. It has a strong sense of modern science and technology, and is suitable for young people.

European saloon cars have low chassis, light body, and many types of tractors. Generally, cars or SUVs above 1.6L are competent. Of course, the trafficability may be affected when the low chassis encounters a bumpy road surface. In addition, the space is slightly weaker than that of American saloon cars.

3. Domestic RV

The home-made RV is designed according to the usage habits of Chinese people. Its biggest characteristics are low price, high cost performance, easy replacement of parts and convenient maintenance.

Domestic RV started late. Although the necessary equipment and facilities are complete, some details or technologies are not as advanced as imported RV.

In addition to the above three categories, according to the difference in appearance and function, trailer RV can also be divided into trailer type A RV, trailer type B RV, trailer type C RV, trailer type D RV and mobile villa RV.

1. Type A RV

The length is generally about 6-10m, which can accommodate 6 people. It is connected to SUVs or cars through connectors and hooks. The sleeping, shower, cooking and dining facilities on the car are comfortable and complete. Most trailer type recreational vehicles have space expansion design, and the two sides of the car body will expand outward to expand the dining, sleeping and kitchen areas.

2. Type B RV

It is generally 7-13m long and can take about 8 people. Its tractor is usually a pickup truck with staggered living space, which is suitable for weekend holidays, family trips or year-round travel.

3. Type C RV

The length is generally about 4-6 m, and it can take 6 people. It is characterized by low price, light weight, convenient use, and many specifications and models. It is more suitable for owners who purchase for the first time. Some models can expand space to both sides, increase sleeping areas and use space, and it is suitable for families with children.

4. Type D RV

Different from other trailers in structure, it is a piggyback RV, which is carried on pickup trucks or modified car slots. It is about 5.5-6.5m long and can take about 4 people. It is compact, simple and economical. If you camp on bad roads, this kind of RV has an advantage.

5. Mobile villa RV

Its length is generally 6-12m, which is suitable for lovers who spend a long time on holiday. Generally, it needs to be transported to the camp by special or heavy flatbed trailer. This RV has large space, complete facilities, comfort and convenience, and is as convenient and free as home. However, this kind of mobile villa RV is generally not equipped with power supply. Once parked, it must be connected to the public power system to supplement power, which is not suitable for owners who frequently switch camping sites.
