Dump truck is a kind of engineering vehicle. Its principle is that the engine drives the hydraulic mechanism and drives the lifting mechanism to tilt to achieve the purpose of unloading. After unloading, it is reset, which greatly saves unloading time and labor, shortens transportation cycle and improves production efficiency. It is widely used in mining, water conservancy construction, road construction and other fields.

In terms of lifting mode, dump truck can be divided into backward tipping type and side tipping type. Today, let's focus on the side tipping semi-trailer.

In fact, most of the previous dump trucks were backward tipping type, but the backward tipping semi-trailer has high requirements for the height of lifting the ejector rod. Generally, the ejector rod height is affected by the length of the carriage, and the longer the length of the cargo compartment, the longer the ejector rod length is required. However, the design of the ejector rod adopts the design of climbing step by step, and the thinner it gets to the top, so it is very unfavorable to the lateral stability of lifting.

In this case, the rollover semi-trailer came out. One of its biggest advantages is that it has less requirements for the height of the lifting ejector rod, even less than half the height of the backward tipping ejector rod. Generally, the ejector rods of the rollover semi-trailer are evenly distributed at the bottom of the cargo compartment in a straight line shape, with large lifting force and improved lateral stability. Especially for the semi-trailer with long cargo compartment, rollover dump is more suitable.

In addition, the rollover dump truck is generally equipped with a shift rod in the design, which can help reduce rollover to a certain extent, but it can not be completely avoided, and it needs to be operated strictly and standardized.

Of course, there will be disadvantages if there are advantages. The disadvantages of rollover semi-trailer are also obvious, mainly due to higher requirements for the unloading site, easy to bury tires during unloading, unclean unloading of goods, etc. So, is there any technique for unloading a rollover semi-trailer?

1. The unloading site shall be flat. This is the first problem that car owners should pay attention to. They must choose a place with flat ground for unloading, especially there should be no slopes on the left and right sides. If the center of gravity of the dump truck deviates after the container is raised, it is very easy to cause rollover.

2. The ground for unloading shall be firm. Dump trucks are generally heavy. If the ground is soft, it is easy to cause wheel subsidence, body shaking or vehicle rollover.

3. The guardrail at the unloading position is refitted into a baffle. This is also a method provided by the owner to prevent the tire from being buried. Refit the guardrail next to the tire into a baffle and pay attention to the height from the ground, so that it is not easy to bury the tire when unloading.

4. Do not lift the ejector rod all at once. It is suggested that the owner should pay more attention to observation during unloading. Raise one section of the ejector rod to observe the vehicle. If there is no deviation or buried tire, raise the next section.

5. Pay more attention to observation during unloading. During unloading, the owner must observe the changes of the carriage from the rear window. In case of tire sinking and body inclination, the loading and unloading shall be stopped immediately. It is best to arrange another person to assist in the observation outside the vehicle.

Some owners said that when unloading the rollover semi-trailer, the front and carriage can maintain a certain angle, generally no more than 45 °, so as to maintain the balance of the body.
