Generally speaking, large cargo transport vehicles can be divided into four levels:

The weight is more than 20 tons (including 20 tons) and less than 100 tons.

3. Level III: meet one of the following standards

The width is more than 5.5m (including 5.5m) and less than 6m;

The height is more than 4.4m (including 4.4m) and less than 5m;

The weight is more than 200 tons (including 200 tons) and less than 300 tons.

4. Level 4: meet one of the following standards

The length is 40m and above;

The width is 6m and above;

The height is 5M and above;

The weight is 300 tons and above.

As for the models of heavy cargo transport vehicles, we often say three-line six axis, four-line eight axis, five-line ten axis, six-line twelve axis, seven line fourteen axis, eight line sixteen axis, etc. Among them, three lines and six axes can generally transport goods less than 80 tons, four lines and eight axes can transport goods less than 100 tons, five lines and ten axes can transport goods less than 120 tons, and so on.

It is worth noting that although these models are legally on the road, only three-line six axle semi-trailer can go home, and the rest need to apply for a temporary license, which is usually valid for about one month and needs to be reissued before expiration. So, how to see how many lines and axles of semi-trailer?

It's actually very simple. See how many rows of wheels are designed behind the semi-trailer, that is, how many lines; Then look at how many axles are installed in the middle of these rows of wheels, that is, how many axles. For example, a three line six axle semi-trailer means that three rows of wheels are installed on the semi-trailer, which is "three lines". Two axles are installed on a row of wheels in parallel, a total of six axles, which is "six axles". and so on.
