Due to the different road conditions and axle usage in each region, the maintenance cycle of drum axle of Darong axle provided below is only for reference.

1. Inspection of friction plate: after every three months or 25000km of axle driving and after each disassembly and assembly of wheel hub and wheel, mainly check whether the thickness of friction plate is normal. The minimum normal thickness of friction plate is 5mm. If it is less than or close to this thickness, replace the friction plate as soon as possible to prevent abnormal vehicle braking.

2. Brake drum inspection: check the brake drum of the axle for cracks, wear and damage every three months or 25000km and after disassembling the wheel hub and wheel every time; After each disassembly and assembly of the wheel hub and wheel, the internal diameter of the brake shall be checked, and the diameter of the brake drum shall be checked at the position with the greatest wear. If the internal diameter of the brake drum is greater than the maximum wear value due to wear or other reasons, it shall be replaced. Generally, it is recommended to replace two brake drums of the same axle at the same time to avoid tire eating caused by different braking forces of the two sections of the axle.

3. Inspection of brake air chamber: after the axle is driven every three months or 25000km and after the wheel hub and wheel are disassembled every time, check the overall condition of the axle brake air chamber, such as the connection condition, damage condition and wear condition of various parts of the air chamber. If there are parts that need to be replaced or repaired, they shall be repaired at the after-sales maintenance service network in time. After the initial driving of the axle and before and after the initial loading of goods, check whether the bleeder valve of the brake chamber has been removed.

4. Inspection of adjusting arm: check whether the adjusting arm works normally every three months or 25000km of the axle and after each disassembly and assembly of the wheel hub and wheel. Brake in place for 5 times (the brake air pressure is about 1bar / 01mpa). The wrench rotates clockwise with the worm shaft and gradually reduces the angle. When the wrench turns every time it brakes, it indicates that the adjusting arm works normally. After the axle runs for three months or 25000km each time, the adjusting arm shall be lubricated, and the grease shall be injected through the oil nozzle of the adjusting arm. The adjusting arm on the same axle must be lubricated at the same time.

5. Camshaft bushing and spherical bearing: the camshaft bushing and spherical bearing of the vehicle shall be lubricated every three months or 25000km. Grease shall be injected through the grease nozzle. All camshaft bushings and spherical bearings on the same axle must be lubricated at the same time (4 grease nozzles).
