1. Loose fasteners and bolts

Tire bolt is the fastener connecting axle and tire, which is used for the connection between hub and rim. The wheel assembly is fixed on the axle through the wheel nut, so that the wheel can carry and transmit power. In the process of vehicle driving, if the tire bolt is loose or even broken, it will seriously endanger the driving safety.

2. Design and type selection

The vehicle bolts shall be the standard products of professional axle manufacturers, but some trailer manufacturers choose some parts with poor strength and torque bearing capacity in order to save cost. During driving, they can not bear excessive load and cause damage, resulting in tire falling off and even other dangers.

3. Assembly manufacturing problems

Elastic cylindrical pin is used to reduce the rotation clearance between rim and axle bolt, reduce the relative rotation between axle and rim, and improve the anti loosening ability of rim and axle. According to the requirements, when installing the rim on the axle, two elastic cylindrical pins need to be installed diagonally, but there will also be misalignment, which may be caused by the carelessness of workers or the imprecision of parts manufacturing.

4. Tire installation problem

Large tire disassembly and assembly machine shall be used for tire disassembly and assembly. The installation direction of tire valve core shall be outward, and the installation height shall not exceed 10mm. The installation direction of inner and outer tire valve core shall be 180 °. The tire fastening screws shall be tightened according to the required torque, and secondary tightening is required after the sports car test. When tightening the bolts, tighten the wheel nuts diagonally to the specified tightening torque. Two nuts on the diagonal shall be taken from the wheel bolts on each rim for inspection. If they are unqualified, the tire will fall off.

Generally, if the tire falls off due to the fracture of tire screw, the vehicle will swing, shake in direction, make abnormal noise, etc., so fasten all wheel nuts and apply paint for anti loosening identification before driving. Check every 50km ~ 100km during driving to ensure that nuts are not loose and tires fall off.
